Winter prep for body

This winter is approaching fast and I've got to prepare my car body for the season (and so do you).... I would have loved to get the opti-coat 2.0, but it's not available anymore. I might just get a Klasse / Wolfgang paint sealant. Any opinions...?
Let's leave the tires out of this discussion...

Right. Pay close attention to door sills, edges of doors and so forth. Use a good rubber lubricant on the door seals to keep them from freezing shut.

Thanks. But I thought sealants were easier to apply and last longer..... I even read about someone recommending putting one layer of wax over a paint sealant for added protection. I probably don't care for the showcar like super shine.

The ideal temp for applying wax or a sealer is lower to mid 70's but you can still do it at higher temps in you are in a shaded or covered area.

Doing it at temps in the 40's or lower does not allow the wax or sealant to properly setup for max protection. if you do apply wax in low temps, they recommend putting the car into a warm area or in direct sunlight when done.
