Where'd I park?
Any way to change the RDX beep to the / a horn when pressing the lock? Half the time I forget where I park and the keyfob horn was invaluable in guiding me in the past. The beep is not loud enough... and I am aware the keyfob beep today when locking is the same beep when opening/closing the rear hatch. Need to separate the two... or would like just a separate inexpensive keyfob thingy to sound the horn. The "panic" button would obviously not be the way to go. Thx
Ron,
Download one of the many "find my car" apps. They've available for both Apple and Android phones. Some are really fancy (usually paid) and automatically mark a spot when your car stops. Others (free) you usually have to activate when you park. When you need to find your car you just check the app. Most feature an arrow of some sort that guides you turn by turn to wherever you parked.
Cheers

I've used those "find my car" app when I travel. You can easily get turned around heading back to the vehicle because everything looks completely different heading back compared to leaving. I "try" to remember to turn around when walking away and make mental notes of the area; but, I sometimes forget to do this. A few times I forgot to turn on the GPS tracker and really needed it (like when I parked in New Orleans),
One additional bluetooth tracking device I have is called "Tile". It fits on a key ring or a thinner size for a wallet and connects to your smartphone. It also works in the reverse if you mis-placed your smart phone and you can press a button on any Tile to have your phone ring. I don't see why you couldn't leave a Tile in the glove box of the car and just use your smartphone to look up the last location when connected to your phone? You don't have to worry about listening to a horn/beep or watching for flashing headlights. It could be a back-up for the smartphone tracking apps if you forget to turn the app on like I did.
Tile, Amazon, $25: https://www.thetileapp.com

I always try to park in either the "M", "R" or "G" rows at airports as a reminder for my initials of my name. I do sometimes forget which level heading back.

Google Maps New Car Finder Mode
Hey Ron,
Check this out! There's no need for a separate 'find my car' app anymore. Google Maps has added a new car finder mode and it's probably already on your phone. Details here.

Ron,
I tried to update the above message with additional information but couldn't edit. Here's the info.
It turns out the update I mentioned is still in beta (that wasn't in the article) and it's only available for Android at the moment. Here's the upside. You can download that beta and sideload it from here: Just choose the version that fits your phone (assuming you're on Android).

Mine doesn't always work, hence my thread here: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rdx-...ations-955691/
