With iOS10, the iPhone sends a user notification when its Bluetooth connection to a car is dropped because the car is turned off, noting where you've parked. I noticed that while my iPhone 6S does that just fine when I drive my wife's 2014 RAV4, but it never does it when I'm driving my 2017 RDX Advance. My RDX interacts with my iPhone in pretty much every other way, and the iOS notifications are either all or nothing -- it's not car-by-car.

Anyone have any suggestions about how I can get Maps to generate Parked Car notifications on my iPhone?

 

It's a phone issue.
