How much do you pay for 2014 RDX in Canada?
I know that there's another thread for 2014 RDX pricing but I am wondering how much people are paying for this in Canada?
My car lease will be up in early 2014 and the RDX is on my list so I am curious as to what people really are paying for it here in Canada.
Thank you!

Thanks, drumultaberei!
Now, I am wondering if anyone else from Canada would chime in here? For both the 2013 and 2014 RDX? It's selling quite sell here in Canada so surely there are quite a few Canadian owners around - please feel free to share your experience... :-)

Thanks, guys! I appreciate your response!
BTW, Weather, how do you compare your RDX to the TL? I am considering the MDX or RDX but I feel that the MDX is too big for me while I worry that the RDX is not luxurious enough.... when you go from the TL to the RDX, do you feel that it's a step down in terms of level of luxury and comfort? Does the RDX feel faster or slower than the TL?

I have come to enjoy the audio system of the RDX more than the TL, especially after having done my necessary tweaks in the default settings.
They are both great vehicles and offer + and -.....If money is not an issue, I would go with the MDX as I wish I would have waited and done so myself. If you are somewhat budget conscious and feel the MDX is going to negatively affect your quality of life, don't blow your budget and go for the RDX, you will appreciate its adequate roominess, fun and somewhat nimble handling and its smooth ride.
BEst of luck.....

^^ I agree with you to an extent with the exception of the stereo. I used to think th eTL stereo was better until I calibrated the system on the RDX. Once I did, I am now convinced that the sound of the RDX is actually better and more refined. That being said, sound is so subjective, and is also dependent on the type of music you listen.

Is that inclusive of all taxes and fees etc? By OTD, I assume that you meant that all of these were included? If so, that is a great deal, considering how high the taxes are in ON and QC!
There is currently a $2500 cash incentive for cash purchase.

Another interested RDX buyer here from Toronto.
I think invoice price I got from unhaggle is around 37k. However, I think dealers wont go below invoice as then they wont profit right. Unless I'm missing something. I'm just looking for the premium model not sure if tech package is worth the extra 3k.
based on your pricing for the tech package you paid 41k with tech right OTown.
Did you deal with the manager or sales person. Did you approach with knowing the dealer price?

I think cash incentive is 1500

I bought when cash incentive was $1500 and got just under invoice iirc. My price included everything bar a $50 licensing cost as we didn't have a car to bring plates across from.
The thing to do is get the invoice price from unhaggle, subtract cash incentives, give them 2-3% commission, then add their del charge and then add tax. Aim around that price and push down lower.
It was a cash purchase with no trade in so I think that kept it quite clean for both parties. I also wasn't hugely fussed with getting extras and picked them all up from Curry Acura which saved a lot.

Hi, I think I got a pretty good deal on mine. I leased a new 2014 rdx (non tech) for 36 months (0.01% interest) no cash down or security deposit. 513$ a month tax in. The buyback is 24 700$. All in Canadian currency of course

The key to getting a good deal is to buy from a Volume Dealership. Volume dealerships sell more cars at lower prices as they get a bonus at the end of the month for hitting a certain target of sales of vehicles. For example, in Ontario, Acura of Barrie is a volume dealership. Therefore they tend to be the most competitive and aggressive to get you to purchase there.
Very similar to joecarbs I have the 2014 RDX with Tech leased for 36 months at 0.01% interest because of loyalty discount for $510 taxes in a month.

caboose, that seems like a great deal. Was that a recent purchase? Do you have a name of a sales agent there to contact?

My negotiation is not that good.. but given that the difference is $3000MSRP, You can try my price minus $3000+tx and see if it works. Of course, the amount has to be acceptable to you.. If you can wait, there may be more incentives later to clear out the 2014 models too

I paid $44100 Canadian otd....including all taxes and delivery..it was a cash deal tho.......for a 2014 RDS with technology package..... and everything all in.... including 3m paint film for front hood... and body side moulding ....and the 3material protection package that includes clear coat and leather protection and rust protection as a three way package... that package goes for $1900 apparently... so I was told.

Thanks..... but I have been waiting a while for this thing to show up..... hope it does..... the business manager said it was the best deal he has seen... essentially a price cheaper than for the rds base but for the technology package included......I know someone that paid 49500 for just the R d s base model ...a week earlier

$43,100 Cash for an AWD Base, 3M on the fenders, hood, side Mirrors, Rocker panel, door handle, rear bumper and door edge film. Body side molding and protection package. nowhere close to the discount Yamaha got though.
