Hello All so recently changed all the lights (center, door, and cargo) and makes a difference (will post night pic when I get chance. If anyone wants to do project it’s easy to remove all the bulbs takes around 15 minutes for all the lights.
the bulbs you will need for center are 1 DE3175SYLLED Sylvania
White LED Bulb
for door and cargo you need four (comes in two packs):
2825ZEVOLED-2 Sylvania
Thanks, Yeah those 99.9% sure the numbers should work with all GEN 2 2013-2018 - the auto parts store can confirm if you are worried but I am pretty sure Honda didn’t change them
2) do they get any warmer than the original bulbs?
Sheesh, here we are getting brighter interior light and some people still put smoked covers on their headlights and taillights. Go figure? LOL
those last a lifetime have warranty to back them up (never had one go out on me) as for heat I don’t think they get hotter than the originals (but haven’t touched them) the bulbs would go out with high heat (I have bought Chinese ones that go out after a month in my other car)
to give you context I used these for over a year in my other car and the cheap ones I bought (like 10 bucks for all the lights) burned out after one month and these still going - they have a lifetime replacement warranty so I say worth it.
Hi guys, for the 2016-2018 RDX's the front interior lights are already LEDs and appear to be hard-wired in/not easily replaceable (see picture I took below). I was hoping to change them from warm white to cool white.
The center dome light bulb above the rear seats is a DE3175 (not already a LED)
The trunk/hatch lid lights are 2825 ((not already LEDs)
Just got done doing mine! What I don't think ANYONE has mentioned - but I quickly figured out - is that the LEDs only work going one direction. I put two in only one worked; I pulled the non-working one out, turned it 180^ and it reinserted...worked fine.
The cheap ones worked great for the dome light, the cargo lights and the puddle lights. I used the second type for the license plate since the cheap ones are too long for the lens area. I also put the more expensive ones in the back up lights since it's a clear lens so you'd be able to clearly see the cheap LEDs soldered onto a circuit board that the cheap ones are. Finally, the "kit" above didn't include any that fit the vanity mirror lights on the visors. Ordering these now for that:

Congrats, good write up, LEDs are polarity specific - hopefully your budget lights last a long time as I have had them burn out very quickly in other cars I have tried, which is why I went with the expensive ones with lifetime warranty. Please post night pics
