Unhappy bluetooth/iphone streaming volume

I have a 2017 RDX, no special tech package. I've always been able to stream music from my iphone by using either the bluetooth audio button or the Pandora app. Suddenly, two days ago, I discovered that the volume is extremely low when I stream. Ridiculously low. I have to turn the volume all the way up to hear a song and then if I switch back to radio later than it's shockingly loud. Has anyone experienced this issue? I tried a factory reset to the infotainment system but that accomplished nothing. I've rebooted my iphone (SE) but that didn't make any difference. My husband has the same issue with his Android phone in my car. Suggestions??

Check the volume on your phone itself. Also, it would be best to use a usb input when playing content from your iphone.
Also, make sure your iphone software is up to date. Settings-General-Software Update.
