Volume override when using iPhone/Bluetooth HDD?

I just bought a used 2012 TL and love it. My only gripe: when listening to music on my Iphone 4GS, the volume is considerably lower than the radio or XM. I have it to 40 (max) and the volume is equivalent to 20 when listening to other sources. Anyone know of a solution? My Iphone settings are set to full using "rock" EQ.
Thanks!

Try setting your iPod eq to off and see if that fixes it. I've never noticed a big difference in vol between iPhone and other sources. Even in my other cars there isn't any noticeable difference. Are you using Bluetooth or USB connection? Using Bluetooth I think, your phone volume comes into play. Is the iPhone volume all the way up??

I noticed the same thing. The phone volume was the culprit in my case. Whether using the USB or Bluetooth connection, make sure the volume on your phone is turned all the way up.
