iPhone 3.0 - stereo Bluetooth Streaming

I recently upgraded my iPhone 3G to the 3.0 update... which enables stereo Bluetooth capability. Could this be used to play music through my (Navi) head unit somehow?

Not possible, TL's Bluetooth has only headset/headphone profile... therefore, cannot accept streaming music audio

Oh well... just a thought. Sure would have been nice to have decent iPhone/Pod integration without tearing into the dash...

Of course if it were possible it would have been a sticky by now.

One quirk is that you can actually stream the Voice Memos that you record with that app, through the navi bluetooth system. There's an option in the Voice Memos app to toggle between Speaker/iPhone/Handsfree!!

Why shouldn't streaming be possible from the iPod app, I wonder?!

Invest in a $20 tape deck adapter. I've never had any quality complaints using mine with my Iphone...
