Air filters
Air filters
2013 RDX. Hitting the 1yr mark and ~13k miles.
Was in for an oil-change today. Dealer recommended the engine air filter and cabin air filter be replaced to the tune of $100. The tech said this was typical / not unusual for 13K.
I declined, thinking 13K doesn't really seem like it should already need both of those.
Any thoughts? I have to bring it back for a recall anyway, so if it's likely they really do need to be replaced, I can go ahead and have it done.

This is our first Acura. We bought it 9/15/12 and drove it quite a bit for the first ~8-months. Especially over the winter. Averaging about 12K miles/yr. Not many miles on the RDX the last 5 months since we bought a 2013 VW SportWagen TDI. Driving it at the rate of 24K miles/yr.
With winter right around the corner, we're getting ready to swap back to the RDX as the primary vehicle.
I did find this:

I've always replaced the cabin filter myself annually, it's cheap and easy. My wife is allergic to everything so I use the Puralator BreatheEASY filters. http://www.purolatorautofilters.net/...irfilters.aspx
