2018 RDX jack points

2018 RDX jack points

hello all

so i have been trying to identify Jack points on 2018 RDX just to be ready incase i have a flat .. but i couldnt possibly locate ..

i took pics of the under bottom but still dont see how it is showed in the manual ..

can someone who has experience post a pic of the under showing jack points please ?

the subframe has a square indicator or jack point in the front of the car.

hello @justnspace thank you very much .. i will look and see if i have that on the back ..

but im looking for the ones on the side that can be used for a regular jack that comes with acura ..
like in this pic

yes, you can also use the pinch welds.

the front and back will have the square denoting the jack point

that jack is anything but regular.. it's a scissor jack meant to replace a flat tire in a pinch, i wouldn't use that to do an oil change

yeah, it needs to be on stands. the pinch welds are there for the jack stands.

For safe oil changes: Use jack stands on the side pinch welds. Always. Take the jack and move it to the rear lower control arm mount on the driver's side. You can gain access from under the front side doors. Engage the jack slightly with the control arm mount. The safety jack is now out of the way for all your fluid changes.

it's not a jack point, it's a pinch weld.

Ok It's a pinch weld,but that's where You place the scissor jack when You need to change a tire.
