Help me decide which wheels

17x8 - 235/45-17 3G TL Wheels ET 45
OR
18x8 - 235/40-18 A-Spec Sparkle Silver ET45

Yes, I rolled the rear fenders

I tried one of the A-specs tonight to see what the rubbing would be, if any. It is the same for both wheels and rubs occasionally on the rear bumper tab (does not rub anywhere else since fenders are rolled).

Just want to see what everyone thinks. Do I:

1) Go with the 3G TL wheels?
2) Go with the A-specs and get 225/40-18?
3) Sell both sets, back to stock w/ 225/45-17 or 235/45-17?
4) I am sure someone will say, "get wheels that fit"

Opinions welcome, sorry for the crappy pics.

a-spec, but those are pretty heavy, say bye bye to your MPG. i'd rather go with some light forged rims. but i love that a-spec design =D

I think the ASPEC rims looks the best of the two

I might actually lean towards something like this, only go back to stock for now, upgrade tires and sell both sets of wheels.

you need some spacers for the stock wheels. i think 5mm.

save your money and get some real wheels that fit.

Obviously get a nice set of upgraded wheels would be nice. But between the two TL wheels i like the 3G TL wheels over the aspecs. They look beautiful on your car!

Snapped a pic of all of them on

Much better perspective with all of them on. I actually like them . Going to keep them on for a little, see how bad the rubbing is, then might unload them.

Comments welcome.

out of what you have posted....

the aspecs look WAY better than the 3G wheels. IMO the 3G's are over done. everyone has them.

just keep the aspecs and trim/move the bumper tab.
