Fitment Question

I was wondering if the TL A-Spec wheels 18x8 with a +45 offset would fit on my 2001 CL-S. Here's the link if you need more info:

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/sold-fs-18-sparkle-silver-spec-wheels-tl-351697/

Anyway, please let me know as I'd like to grab these soon if possible.

Thanks,

Andrew

It's not a question of a-spec rims, the rim doesn't matter, what does is they are 18X8 +45 offset. Any 18 rim that is that size will fit the same.

And the answer is if you not dropped they will be fine.
If you are dropped, they may rub. Depends on drop, alignment settings, sag, & car specifics(not all CL's are =)

I was thinking of just doing some H&R springs for a small drop. I don't really want anything to have the tucked look, I had that on my Mercedes and not really in the mood for that again.

So my question would be then, with these wheels what do you think would be the best suspension set up so there is just under a finger's gap between each wheel?

They may stick out a bit, I've seen it done on both a 99 TL and 03 TL and on the 99 it sticks out a bit in the front but on the 03 TL its sits fine. In other words its trial and error with these wheels. I think also on the 99 he put 235's on them so try 225/40/18 and you may be ok
