I agree completly with the guys above. Yea the TL-S look hot except for the rims. I thought I was the only one who thought that.

I agree, I'm not really a big fan of the wheels on the new tl-s, and also don't think they would look good / fit the best on a cl. Are you looking into getting a set of wheels for your anthracite cls?

I thought about doing this just to be the first and plus they're gun metal and I like gun metal wheels on SSMs, but after thinking about it more I agree with everyone else, they're pretty ugly.

i dont think its the fact that they're too ugly (but far from good looking), i think that they're too small

Aww they're not THAT bad....

I think they'd look better on the CL than the TL if they'd fit.

I dont think the wheel is that bad looking(not my favorite), it's definitely more on the sporty side of the spectrum looks wise. I think it fits the TL though. I've been waiting to see them on a 2g CL, lets see how long it takes.

True that. The base tl wheels are a ton more attractive than the type S wheels.

On an anthracite CLS they look GREAT! I tested fitting 4 on my CLS last weekend. I was going to buy a set from a local seller that had them on craigslist. He let me test fit them & drive a few miles. They were stock 07 TLS rims with stock tires. They didn't rub, but the tire hit the wheel well edges on my car on bumps. Front & rear. In the rear the tires did rub the inner fender lip constantly when the guy was in the back seat.(weight)
Might be able to get away with rolling the rear fenders, but the front would still hit.
I'm only lowered 1.5 too.

What, no pics???? Would have been helpful to your community. Though i guess i'd feel weird saying "nah, i don't want em, but lemme take some pictures of my car before we take em' off.

I would like to have seen pics too, but oh well. What is the offset and width of that wheel, the same as the base wheels?

On a Taffeta White CL-S I think they would look money, but would need to see. I am sure someone will eventually do it.

If I recall correctly, they are 17x8 +45, so they should fit w/o rubbing depending on the tires.

Otherwise, I don't really care for them on the TL.

TL-S Rims FTL, they do look better on the CL but they still don't look good overall, I agree with everyone else, there's definitely much better choices out there.

Those pics definitely helped. My buddy has a TL-S and I was thinking of buying his wheels for my CL-S. Has anyone tried putting them on a CL-S? They really dont fit?

I actually like the TL-S rims, a lot better than the stock TL's. But I agree, they don't look good on a CL-S, go with the A-Spec rims
