I change the internal filter my push myself and I have everything back without problems, but when I try to turn on the light of the D5 car turns and turns off and unable to move the shifter....
A idea??

I really need consulting, my acura cl 02 doesn't speed change I changed 2 transmission filters and now the check engine light turns on and D5 turns on and off constantly... what to do? Reprogram the gearbox?
Hello, just wanted to share my 01 automatic cl experience. I purchased this vehicle from a family member in Feb. to the untrained eye, the vehicle was a diamond. My first issue was the car not wanting to start after driving about 15 miles. all the lights came on d5, vsa, check engine, all bad signs. After the second occurrence, I took the car to the dealership. Wrong move! they gave me a list of things that needed to be replaced like the top radiator hose for $180.00 and timing belt for $750.00 the total was 3k. I also mentioned to them a weird noise the car made when accelerating around 20 to 30 mph. they test drove it and said they didn't hear it and the tranny was fine. I took my car to a mom and pops and had the fuel injection cleaned 80.00 and the top hose replaced for $20.00. this would have cost over 300 at the dealership. long story short the car still wouldn't start on two occasions.
i was scheduled to drive car from miami to los angeles in a week and didnt want to get stranded. I made it to LA in a day in a half. It took that long cause of a cracked radiator which jb weld fixed crack. on the way to LA i put Lucas Fuel treatment in for every other fill up. this was back in march 10. car has never stalled and lights never came on again.
I got the radiator replaced for 350, timing belt and water pump 300, and oil change once i got to cali.
with most of the major repairs completed, I decided to focus on that weird noise which occurred at 20 and 30 miles. all the mechanics that tried to diagnose the problem said they felt and heard nothing. i did some research and discovered gm sm fm. i bought a case of nine quarts for $118. I shipped 4 bottles to LA and had the mechanic do a drain and fill for $20. three liters and 30 minutes later, the weird sound was gone and and the car shifted like butter for hesitation. I had the work done in Torrance, my gears started to slip on the 405n so i had to manually shift. I was in stop and go traffic so i was a little freaked out. two minutes later all was fine. i made it to the 101 and flew to studio city.
I wont lie, I was a little freaked out that entire night, so I drove the car every where highway(101) mountains( Laurel Canyon) and stop and go. so far so good. i drove the car to long beach the next day and was very pleased with the shifts and smoothness. if the gear slipping was a temporary, onetime issue, I have 0 complaints.
I cant wait to get back to cali and drive my baby.
