Odd Problem

Driving yesterday, I put my car in park on a step hill. As I pushed on the brake and attempted to move it out of park, it would not disengage.

I had to use the emergency push button on the side of the shift lever to get it to get out of park. I noticed that when I hit the brake it does not make the "Click" sound which disengages the park lock.

Also, while driving today I needed to use my horn and it didn't work. I tested it by pressing the "panic" button on my key chain and all it did was flash the lights.

I checked the "Horn Relay" fuse and it was fine. I replaced it with the "Light Relay" fuse right next to it and still no luck.

All other electronics work in my car. (I.e, windows, seats, lights, turn signals, everything)

Please I need some help here, any input would be great.

Thanks for the quick response. I found the problem. the power from the brake light to the spoiler brake light was pulled loose and shorted out blowing the 20A fuse under the hood labeled "STOP"
