Noise from left front and steering. help!!

What up aziners..
I have been hearing this noise from my left front when I go over uneven pavement at low speed, its kind of nobbing sound not clunking or clicking. I have been searching here before I jack it up and sounded like lower balljoint or loose control arm. But yesterday I noticed that when I turn steerig I aslo get a noise (like clicking) and feels like something is loose. I plan to take the wheel off and inspect it soon but just been busy, but andy suggessions or advise will be appreciated as I dont know much about suspension.
Oh and at my last oil change like a month ago and stealer said that ball joints would need replacement soon, which I dont believe as they looked fine at that time. I am really worried as i have to drive it everyday and roads here are bad also if anyone have any pictures of components and what should i look for when I inspect it that will be great.
Thanks

I'm having the same sounds. After a week of installing some parts.
I replaced everything a couple of weeks ago. Except the tie rod ends.
But the inners and outers were replaced about 1 1/2 years ago.
I cant find anything loose,I disconected the outer tie rods and pulled from the left and right ,no play and no sounds.
I turned both knuckles to the left and the right,no sounds again.
With a jack under the lower controls working the suspension I did not hear any noise.
Today I'm going to remove my front coilovers so I can freely work the suspension to locate the noise.
The only problems that I'm thinking it could be is the sway bushings or end links,The rack it self or the jack shaft.
If I can't find a issue today, Sunday the whole front end will get torn down and reinstalled.
I just replaced:
both upper arms
both lower arms
all balljoints
both axles
both wheel bearings
rotors+pads all around
coilovers.

1 1/2 years ago replaced:
inner and outer tie rods
sway end links.
I might even try to drop the front sway for some lawn driving to see if the noise goes away.
The lawn driving will quickly produce the sounds with out having to wait for a certin menuver with regular street driving.

Have you found your sound ?
I will let you know if I find mine.

I skimed your post thinking it said you had clunking and clicking

well I got it checked and no one found anything but at the stealers they thought the control arm was loose so I removed and reinstalled it and then I got the alingment done
its better but i havent been driving on bumpy roads so cant really tell, but its definately a less noise. oh and yes in my case it was NOT cluncking or clicking but more like nobbing or dubbing noise from left front like someting was loose. nothing like the vid. posted that one's creepy dude.

Go hit some bumpy roads and let us know.
It might stop me from riping my whole car apart.

sorry it took me long, i just got to richmond and i kinda do still hear the noise over uneven pavement and my friend thinks its the shocks makeing the noise but i have driven it hard and no difference in the noise. My roomate have a 03 TL with navi and that car have much smotther suspension she can go ver speed bumps in my apartment complex without really slowing down but if I go over them at same speed its hell...so TL and CLS have definately different suspension well dont know about TLs.
Glad to hear you fixed the porblem or noise.

Same here. I didn't realize it, but the knocking Ive been hearing at slow speeds was the passenger side mount.

I have a sound coming from my car when I drive as well.....

Took it to the shop and they said my rims were bent...So I slapped on a new set of four and I also had a bent wheel bearing and I changed that and I still have the sound and it's much louder.....

My car kind of sounds like a boat when I drive and when I turn left the sound grows much louder then when I turn right it very dim and I really dont hear it....

They said the other bearing might be bad to and I might then hear it when the other one was replaced but the sound got much louder then before so it has to be something else...

Whatever it is, it is killing my gas like a thirsty person in the Mojave

Kind of like if you had your mouth closed and made a sound like "UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" or "HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" is what it sounds like.....

Like something is rubbing against something else, I use gas like nothing since the sound has started. It's so annoying I even hear it in my dreams

Axle?

And this one is a shot in the dark, but have you checked to make sure the brake calipers arent siezed?

Does it effect steering?

No steering seems fine.....

I had an alignment done when I had the new rims put on...

And before that was done I had another guy check my brakes and he said they were fine....

I have to wait until July 1st to take my car back to the shop

I have been hearing a noise that sounds like it is coming from the left front wheel. I replaced the strut as it was the original and the car has 120k on it. I only hear it at slow speeds on rough roads. I usually drive it on weekends and keep it in my shop during the week. I went to back it out this morning and it made a clunk sound. I just rotated my tires last week and there is no abnormal wear on tires. I can drive fine at high speeds on windy roads (120+mph) and have no handling issues. My car is a '03 CL Type S with 6sp. I drove it around in circles both directions in my parking lot and it doesn't make any noise so I believe I ruled out CV joint. Any suggestions?

Checking back in.....

So I got my car in the shop today and I was told a motor mount was bad as well as the wheel bearings....

So i'm replacing all the motor mounts and the front wheel bearings, they said this should fix the problem i'm having....

Wheel Bearings are like $200 parts and install

Motor Mounts were $450 for a set of 3 at my local Acura Dealer - not sure about labor yet

Sale on ebay right now all mounts like 180shipped, Chepo's
wheel bearing like 30-35 each shipped and
axle is like 60 + ship.
I assume you don't need the links since you are done now.

Well it's always good to pay less for products but the bad thing is if you have problems with them it's a hassle shipping it back and what not and I didn't have the time to sit around waiting for it to come in.....

But thanks for the info nonetheless....I'll probably use it next time around
