New to CLS6 need help

Hello everyone.
Okay so I picked up a CLS6 this last Friday have a small issue (hopefully). Have noticed when driving at low speed when turning (only when turning) my idle will drop to maybe 500 or less and vibrate power steering fluid is full and black in color..? also this is with the ac on. Any advice/ideas?

After doing some looking around someone said something about spark plugs so I pulled one and the part number was for the "premium" non type s (PZFR5F-11). Already ordered the correct PN. Would the wrong plugs be a cause of this?

okay so it seems to be more specifically only with ac on coming to a stop at low speeds it drops to about 4-500rpm range. Found one vac line that was disconnected still runs the same... any ideas????

The idle doesnt dip when the a/c compressor kicks on? If the idle dips only when you turn the steering wheel, it sounds like the pressure switch may have failed.

But first replace the ps fluid. It should not be black, it sounds like that car wasnt maintained well.

PS fluid changed and idle only seems to only dip when stopping with the a/c on. (and not to sure but thinking the problem also occurs with peak temps during the day currently 107 and climbing). A/c off it runs great. I did however go out this morning to start it and it wouldn't turn over had to jump it, battery is a max start from 2010 had slight corrosion on the +pos terminal. Was curious if maybe its a charging system problem? looks to have the oe alternator. 117k miles on it had the timing and all that done around 97k. Thanks for your help!

Yeah I'd trow a new battery in it & clean the cables well. These cars act weird if there's voltage issues in the system. When the AC is on it draws more power, so it makes sense that could be a cause.

Hi. I'm new here and looking to buy a CLS 6 speed car. Grizzen, did you buy the silver car near Dallas? I was planning to go check that car out, but it just sold recently.

Went ahead with new battery got the proper plugs swapped in, did seafoam in the intake before hand. +pos cable has some corrosion on it still will clean that up in the morning. Currently it doesn't dip down as low as it has been might just need to drive on it a bit and see if it clears up. Been driving 4 cylinders from the time I was 16 so I'm used to the vibrating a/c thing but that usually didn't happen till I was at a complete stop. So it might just be me

Haha, if it was the one in farmers branch then yea thats the one I picked up. The instant it popped up online I put down a deposit to hold it (after carfax). Had been looking for over a month.

Yeah Grizzen, thats the one I was talking about. The Carfax seemed a little phoney to me. With owner one for one month, then a big gap (til 05 and 18K miles) until 2nd owner reported. I've been looking for about a month. Thought I had one in Houston, but the guy decided not to sell after his college bound son decided he wanted it. Will keep looking, best of luck with yours.

I own a 2003 CLS6. Mine does the same exact thing. It's just the a/c compressor. Mine does the same thing. My boyfriend works at Honda, I was freakign out when it first started happening and upon investigating that's what it turned out to be. if you turn your car on, put it in nuetral, turn the A/C on and stand out side of your car you can hear the A/C compressor when it does it. It's not a huge deal. You proably didn't have to do all the work you've done to it, but it never hurts (:

That car was just down the street from where I work; it's my twin! I also have an 03 CL-S silver on black 6MT. Congrats on the purchase!
