Have anyone replaced their factory horn with a much louder higher decibel horn without changing the factory relay? It seemed like there are too many dazed drivers on the road lately. Just this month, I had 3 drivers veered out of lane and almost ran into me. I gave them the horn and it took some time before they realized they were out of lane and then they veered back. These drivers need a blast of the tractor trailer horn to get their attention.

 

LOL! I think the relay wil handle up to around 20amps? The 18 wheeler horn is driven by compressed air. I think 20A will cover the air compressor on an air horn kit. They sell such kits at Harbor Freight.

I even thought about getting a train horn off ebay for this LOL. But maybe the shock of such a loud horn they're not expecting will make em "spaz out" and in a knee jerk reaction steer into you..
