hello everyone! before to do my quiestion I ask you guys give me a break with my english cause I'm spanish boy and my english isn't very well..oh well I have a 2003 ACURA CL TYPE-S 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANS. and it has 135000 miles on it. and i feel the engine losing power . what do I have to change to the car get the same power as if were new?

 

Did you ever do the 105,000 miles service on it?

 

^x2 adjusting the valves is part of the 105 and will give u back some lost power. cleaning the intake manifold, tb, egr ports (manually) and fuel injectors with seafoam helps. changing the spark plugs too (use ngk)

 

check the IMRC also.

 

i have done the spark plugs ( ngk) and I cleaned the injectors with seafoam and the R.P.M.S are lilbetter , i need the valve adjustamet but i dont know if bring the car to the acura dealer or any where else. ,,,,,,,( don't know what is egr ports .. and i don't know how to clean cleaning the intake manifold)

 

search. have a friend step on the gas (car off), and u make sure the throttle body plate is open all the way.
