from 3rd to 6th gear during moderate to hard acceleration the whole car shakes like crazy. but with light acceleration or on cruise...nothing. checked wheel balance, alignment, suspension parts. all good. when i let go of the steering wheel it's still stable even through the shaking. mechanic found condensation around intake manifold area. don't know if there's water in the system and if that would cause this. also wondering whether the comptech icebox has something to do with it. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

 

Engine mounts, axles, end links, check those.

I would bet it's your mounts. CV joints usually go on the axles and they cause knocking when you turn. Nice ride, where abouts in TO you live?

 

^when the outer joint fails it makes the snaping,inner can cause your issue.
