Jdm trans swap question

I was thinking of buying the jdm accord or to trans. Anyone know what needs to be done to run the jdm trans and does the jdm tl have the same issue as the us trans. Thanks

The best transmission for your car is the Accord V6 (aka. AV6) transmission from the 2006-2007 Honda Accord; that transmission, by definition is a USDM unit with a code of BAYA. This is also a transmission which was never offered in the Japan market and as such, any JDM unit you buy will be inferior to the BAYA unit.

By all means, buy a JDM transmission if you want to replace it again in the future.
