Honda crank pulley tool for T-belt job?

Hello.

I am going to tackle the T-belt. Almost all tools are ready except the crank pulley tool. Do I have to buy that one or is there anywhere I can borrow like Autozone? Or Anyone borrow me, if I give some deposit?

Thanks.

I bought mine @ Amazon for $25.

Fun job. I used two 1/2" 12" extensions on the crank bolt so I could get a 48" pipe on my breaker bar. I used the "U" part of a jackstand so it didn't wobble. I had a full 90 degrees of twist in the rig before it popped loose.

I also replaced both idler pulleys that the belt rides on, cheap insurance while you're in there.

Good luck, I see I'm a week late, so perhaps you're done...

Yeah got mine off Craigs for $20. If you have access to a GOOD air impact wrench and air compressor that will get that bolt loose too, pretty easily. It's how I've done all my Honda's in the past. And yes change the tensioner & idler rollers. I skipped this the first time I did a TB on my first Preude SI years ago and had an annoyning harmonic vibration around 2500-3K rpm, so always change them now.
