Right now Im almost done doin the whole cl-s 6 swap into my 99 tl but the ecu they gave me with the engine is fried, it doesnt work at all.. so now i need to get a new one and reallly quick; anyone have any suggestions or know a place where i can get one for a decent price (dealer quoted me 982 for just the part)

car-part.com. rob, i checked around our area and surrounding states, no one has a cl-s6 speed for any parts. some in ny, cali, florida, tx, we are dry up here. u can do the whole harness swap. i have a 5at ecu that i dont need.

 

I got 37820-pge-a55 thats from 01 automatic, let me know If you are interested. Computer units for manual and auto may be similar (I am not sure of that though) but they need to be reprogramed anyways to match immobiliser keys

 

i already checked; if i could use an auto one i would be fine but they dont work with the cl-s 6 swap... i know i checked car part im going to call around in the mornin i already have the dash and other harnesses too just stuck without an ecu- and its almost alive just needs that one part right now; had to get everythin ordered (brakcets and stuff) from teh dealer though so im almost bone dry for money but my store said i could put this on credit there so im satifiied.... now just gotta find one for a decent price

you think so? What about the timing sensors being different; like pick up points and crank sensor are diff on a cl-s6 then an auto; if its possible i'd wanna try but i dont wanna waste money cuz i dont have much left from all this
