Engine Mounts: Honda vs. Acura

Need to replace my front engine mount and i see the honda accord v6 (01) is the same but about $100 cheaper.

Is there any reason why I should not go with the honda mount vs the acura mount?

They dont share the same part number. The from mount can be found at the usual places online for ~$125.

The quality would be the same since its manufactured by the same company, however the parts are not interchangeable.

all the mounts look identical though...has no one ever tried this? I mean the accord coupe is practical the same as the CL except for the costmetics and maybe some parts

The bolt holes may be different since the subframes are different. If you want to try it, let us know how it works out.

If your order at Delray through the website, you can pick up the parts. That's what I do. Put in local pickup in the notes section & give them a phone number.
