Diagnosis-Engine Mount VS. Axle VS. Transmission

Alright so I want to figure out why this is happening, this happens every once in a while but not always. Im the farthest thing from a mechanic but I have picked up some things here and from people.

Description:

-When Im accelerating, I can feel a kind of shutter or vibration from the accelerator when the car changes gear. Along with a delay in getting the gear.

-I cannot see a significant play in the RPMS

-Occurs less with higher RPMs (greater than about 3.5K rpms)

-Occurs more often when im pulling out to turn left or right, so turning while accelerating.

So is it one of the three issues I mentioned (engine mount, axle, transmission) or is it a different problem altogether? What would be the key points in distinguishing between the 3 issues?

I don't think it's the engine mounts if it's only happening when shifting gear. I could be wrong though. I think it could be a problem with the diff?

Hmm, Googling "signs of bad differential" now

Edit-
I wanted to add this to help figure this out

-No funny noises

Doesn't match too well with a bad differential (I dont have clunking noises or constant noise)

I have a bad feeling that it might be the tranny starting to show that its on its way out. Maybe its something with the axle or mounts though too...just not sure how to tell.

If it were the axles, the vibration would be consistent..Both in a straight line and in the turns, also not only when shifting gears. I'd say ck your motor mounts first...I dont know about the cl, but the tl has vac assisted motor mounts, so when the mounts are bad they leak a hydraulic fluid...So on the tl, leaking fluid is a sign of a bad motor mount...I'd check for that first.

But a simple trans fluid change wouldnt hurt either.

anc, I did the tranny fluid swap 10K miles back and I havent seen any fluids.

fuzzy, I wouldnt be suprised, with 165K on the dash, its already surpassed my expectations

Transmission is slipping, i think. In 5th gear with a steady throttle, ill see the RPMs spike up a little bit, which im assuming is the transmission is slipping.

Update on transmission- Slipping even more. It was jumping maybe 200 rpms or so, now its jumping up by 500 rpm or so. Looking for a transmission on carparts.com. Are the prices they list actual? Because they seem to all be the same price or close. Im looking at the odyssey, TL, and accord v6 transmissions

UPDATE, On my lonely thread.

Could it be the Torque Converter? I was reading on the symptoms, and this is EXACTLY what happens and is unique to a torque converter

Transmission Surging
Transmission surging is a condition where a vehicle's transmission alternates between periods of smooth, steady transmission function and brief, erratic periods of transmission jumping or lurching. This type of transmission function is normally the result of a torque converter that is losing its ability to deliver smooth, constant hydraulic fluid pumping action.

ok so i have a six speed and and i have a hard vibration when i accelerate. can anyone tell me wats up wiith mine? i believe its motor mounts, wen i bought the car in april 9k miles ago he kept stressing to do the motor mounts n i never got to it yet... any help please? sorry zac for asking on ur post.
