Defroster vent surrounds causing noise
So I think it's my defroster vent plastic surrounds that are causing the creaks and cracks from my dash, not the dash itself. They are all funcky and deformed, I'm guessing from the huge temp changes that we experience here in Arizona. What is the best way to take off and reattach new plastic surrounds? In other words is there an adhesive that anyone has used that seems to do the job well? Also is it best just to get new ones instead of reattaching the ones that are there that seem to be deformed? Thanks in advance for any help.
Mine have been creaking in the mornings when it's been cold out, but once they warm up a little from the heater they are pretty much silent. I've thought about maybe taking them out and rubbing a little bit of lithium grease around the edges and see if that helps any, but it's getting warmer now, so I'm not sure if I'll notice any difference. They're pretty easy to take out, just pry em up with a flat head screw driver and they'll pop out.

Thanks. I actually ended up just pushing them back down and so far they've stayed put, though the dash surrounding them is kind of warped looking. Oh well, I guess Acura didn't thinking about heat and cold when it came to their materials.
