hi guys i own a 2001 acura CL non -s. recently i came home and parked my car and later tried to start it and it would not. i tried for a week to start it but it wouldnt start. so i had a friend come look at it and he sprayed something into the hose in the engine bay and the car started rite up... he said its fuel related and couldnt figure out wat it was. he checked the fuel relay and said the solder looked good. i drove the car for the whole week and today the car started to act up while i was driving. ( car started to die while i drove it) and then it shut down. does ne one know what this problem could be?

 

when you turn the key to the "ON" position, do you hear the fuel pump priming? if not, then thats the source of your fuel problem, its not uncommon for the relay to that to fail on our cars.

 

i hear it bcuz the car still starts... u think i should just change out the relay first ?... how hard is it to change the fuel pump?
