Can the S be removed from the engine of a cl 2001 acura?

Can the S be removed from the engine of a cl 2001 acura?
I am going to buy a 2001 cl-s acura, but on the back it looks like the S has been taken off, so I wonder does it actually have the supercharger under the hood...tell me what you think?

If the car doesn't have the type S badge, then it's probably a CL-P. These cars didn't come stock with a supercharger. Let's keep this civil guys

I find one of the easiest ways to tell is look at the intake manifold cover. The Type-S IM cover has a bevel to it where the non Type-S is flat.

Yup.

Also the gauge cluster face should be white. The seats and the door panels should have perforated leather as well.

And the two biggest tells -

1 - 6 speed
2 - Check the stamping on the block, if it says J32A2 its a Type S. J32A1 is the Premium model.

maybe he got confused on the way the actuator works to create a supercharging effect on the type s models
