I have an 01 CL type s clicking behind dash right side found out through some research was blend door activator what I'd like to know is the actuators I see online that are price reasonably have one arm mine has two is this because of climate control if so what is the fix without spending $400
Unfortunately, if you don't want to purchase new OEM for $341.43, than the only other way to go is to either find a local salvage yard for the cars below and harvest one:
Thank you zeta for your helpful information I appreciate the link for the OEM part I've got a few other things I would like to try first if they fail I will definitely get the OEM part I really don't like buying electronic components second hand if you know what I mean I'm going to try to open mine up and see if I can repair it with a cheap actuator I bought from Amazon I am hoping the gears are the same thanks again for your information you seem to be pretty up on this stuff

If your repair attempt is successful, make sure to document / take pictures of the process & share them here.
Since these parts are increasingly becoming 'discontinued' or prohibitively expensive more people may resort to this 'rebuild' method.

Sorry about taking so long to get back but this is not been a top priority but on the upside I do think I have discovered two repair fixes I am not tech savvy so it's a bit difficult for me to add pics and text

I tried to rebuild with the cheap online part I bought the actuator I have is the green electrical socket the one purchased online for 20 bucks has a black electrical socket the cases are identical thought the gears would interchange but I was wrong the gear tooth count is smaller in the black socket will not interchange with green one so I took my green electrical socket disassembled and turned the lever gear 180° taking the broken tooth out of play this looks like it will work in theory have not plugged it in to check it but it should work
