(OR in the link Zeta provided, what category are they under?) and can they be installed youself?
new GSP axles from advance auto are around $65 each but using coupon code RETMENOT123 you can get $30 off $100 purchase - just saying but if you do two seperate orders on each one you'll get $20 off on each one :P

i dont recommend it but if you have to... At least unplug faulty coilpack

Is it one of those things where it would be better not to, but it would be ok overall? Or is it something I really should not consider? Ya un plugging the coil wont be a problem...

Sorry for the delayed reply.....Got the car working!!! It was the #6 coil pack. We did the plugs at the same time they were bad too, so it was good to get them done. Car runs good now.....Thank you StreetKA, Zeta and others for the help. This forum is great because of guy like you!

I had the same issue, cylinder 5 was misfiring. Took it to my guy and we changed the coil pack and spark plug. However, as you guys might have already guessed, they didn't jabve the Denso Iridium IK22 plugs in stock. So we went with the next best thing which is what the shop suggested for the NA engine without the blower. Now 2 weeks later all cylinders are misfiring and I'm getting the random misfire code as well, P1399.

My question is do you think the different spark plug is the culprit?

I would reasonably guess 'yes'. I do not think I have ever seen a S/C'd member come on here and state that they have installed anything other then the IK 22's and have had zero issues. However, If you replace what you have with IK 22's and still have the misfires then it still could be the coil pack(s).

Also, check for cracked intake runners. IIRC, StreetKA, found that he had a crack in one of his which was causing him some considerable grief at narrowing down in regards to misfires.

my problem is not solved yet since im still delaying the install new runners. i just got my new clutch installed that i want break it in. P1399 might be several things like;

spark plugs
coils
dirty egr
misadjusted valves

i am not a 100% possitive that my cracked runner is making this issue because i have zero idling problems but im gonna change it anyway... with new flywheel and clutch car runs much smoother without vibration but i have to wait a bit to open it up

personaly plugs is the first thing i would check
