Looks great. The only (two) things Id change are the blue couplers on the intake and the gray intake tubing. Id go red on the couplers and polished on the tubing to tie in with everything else.

I agree, blue couplers got to go. I'd go black like the blower outlet one. Also have you considered getting rid of the vsa unit, then run a polished intake tube.

I think the gray intake tubing could stay. The blue couplers should be changed to red though.

Oh yeah, NICE ASS ENGINE BAY

thanks guys. lol i knew you guys were going to say that about the blue couplers. ill probably switch them out for some black ones. the intake tube is matte/flat black im going to leave it the way it is. Yea I thought about deleting the vsa unit and a polished intake but I'm just going to those things the way they are.

need some opinions/help guys.

i was thinking about going one of two routes.

1.maybe do a 4 piston rear rotora bbk. i was wondering if they will fit fine with 18x10 in the rear. just by eyeballing it, it looks like ill have enough room. i want to keep the same specs i have now and not run spacers. also i was thinking maybe a 4 piston in the rear would be a little overkill. since it is a fwd car. i probably really dont need it.

2. would be to just upgrade my front and rear rotors/pads. my question with this is whats the biggest rotor i can run in the front with my RL bbk with my 18's and also whats the best brand rotors and pads on the market i can go with.

Well I'm beginning to lean towards option 2. Civic would you be able to answer my questions from option 2?

Same deal. I dont know what wheels you have or plan to run. On my Works, the caliper is pretty close to the barrel of the wheel. Running a 14" rotor would definitely require new wheels in my case. Just measure how much space you currently have. As long as its more then 1" you should be good. Paul would have to make new brackets BTW.

I like my Powerslots, but Im probably going to try out EBCs next time around. For pads - it all depends on what you are looking for. I like my Red Stuff pads. From what I hear, they are rough on rotors though. Check out AJ-USA.com when you decide what to get. They run deals all the time and seem to have good prices.

I spoke with Paul and he is currently test fitting 14" rotors for the RL calipers. He said if they fit he would have to add spacers to the brackets.

The real question is do the wheels clear the the calipers? I've seen 14.1" BBK clear 18" TE-37. Again, it all depends.

I started a thread on this:

For the rears I was considering pilot rotors but I'm pretty sure they maintain the stock single piston caliper, so would just going to a bigger rotor really even make a difference besides better heat dissipation? I ask because I remember reading Paul also makes a bracket for the rear to fit the bigger pilot rotors. Just another option for ya to consider

Didn't know that either, very good info to know...

I'm with you diddy, I'm going with 13" rotors because I know they will work. I'd hate to piss $$ away on uncertainties.

None of the Honda vehicles use a seperate e-brake. They all have the e-brake in the caliper. All Acuras use e-brake shoes and the rotors have the space built into the hub.

If you were to run the Pilot rotors, you'd have to run a combo caliper, which are only single piston and they suck.

MDX rotors wont work either. The shoes are a completely different size and won't fit the CL-S spindles. Ive already looked into it

i plan on keeping the rear rotors the same just go with a better brand. im trying to decide between stoptech and rotora rotors. the one thing about stoptech i been reading is that the inner part of the rotor rust because the pad doesnt contact that part. thats been said about them on a lot of forums.

im also playing with the idea of going from 9 to 9.5 in the front. got a few changes to do over the winter. plan swtiching up my suspension too.

its about that time to get new suspension. my current coils i think are nearing their lifespan. after 2 owners, having to deal with potholes when i lived in Philly and those cold winters its time. there riding like shit and i dont even like driving my car half the time. im currently looking at FF type1 coils. a friend has them on his slammed accord and they ride great.
