I think it looks much classier with the chrome trim to be honest

Color matched door handles would look rad though

Your car is beautiful my friend... You've been able to do so much and still manage a clean OEM style look.

Being deployed and still finding a way to mod your car is inspiring. Trust me as a service member myself I know how difficult it can be to be away from home and your car.

Keep it up brother and thank you for your service!

Lol yea I'm fortunate enough to have friends that can do what I need done to my car or know someone who can. The car is actually at the paint shop now getting all the rubber exterior moldings blacked out. After 10 years their all fading and the chrome around the windows is getting blacked out also.

The car had more eye appeal with the chrome around the windows.
grill looks good.
With the chrome blacked out the rims don't look like they go anymore or something else needs to be blacked out.

You need the chrome back.

I like it both ways. I think the blacked-out looks more sporty, and the oem chrome was more for looks.

I personally think that if you didn't have the right wheels/paint/kit, the blacked out might look dull, BUT since your exterior is like it is, that compliments the blacked-out style.

Thumbs up from me.

So you decided to leave the handles chrome, or are they still getting painted? Also what version of the FIC do you have, the 1910 or 1911?

I was thinking the same thing. It doesn't look bad how it is now, but the wheels don't have any type of chrome theme to go with now

Lol nah I'm pretty content with these wheels. I still do look for new wheels but thats out of habit.
This might give me a reason to switch up the rim. Just kidding lol.

Hey streeka I'm on my iPhone so I'm coping and pasting his text messages.

My boy: Degreaser, microfiber cloth, air hose, and water based dressing.

Me: Water based dressing?

My boy: Like Armor all (oil based). What I use is water based so I can spray it all over the engine with out worrying about making the belts slip off. Lol

I like the black trim, been thinking about doing mine for a while.

I have the same thoughts on my wheels with a polished lip, if I black out the trim. My other thought was to powdercoat the lip on my wheels black. That may be pushing it though just to match the trim...haha

Damn - I hated the chrome...I couldn't wait to black mine out!

Once you get the door handles done it'll mesh better IMO.

You going to keep the Accord fogs black or paint them red?

Grill came out clean.

Blacking out the chrome actually does a lot and really does clean up the look.

Feel like it really changed the way my car looked up close.

Im on the fence about the window chrome. I think if you get body colored door handles it will tie in much better. I like the grill though.
