The cl is going to be sitting at the shop for about a week since the fic is mailed off. I'm going to get the door handles color match and a few paint touch ups like the front lip. I'm playing with the idea of getting the supercharger polished and painting the engine bay painted while it's there.

The engine bay is already painted. lol
I'd rather see the S/C powder coated black and maybe the same for the engine itself. Personally I'd "de-shine" everything in that muthasucka.

I want to color match the stock red in the bay with m3 red on the car. I want the supercharger to shine. It's really dull.

Meh. I like the Accord version. Hell, if possible I'd hide the damn thing all together. Not possible though.

The polished supercharger stands out too much for my eye but maybe it would work better if you have some other accents to compliment.

yea we are. there done polishing the supercharger just waiting on the bay to get done. i got my FIC back yesterday from AEM. i talked with my tuner and were just trying to schedule a time to get it in. he tunes all over the world for professional race teams so hes always a hard guy to link up with. hes going to Europe next week to tune. i was hoping to get my car in next weekend but that wont be possible. im hoping by the end of October.

From what I've seen the auto get around 300whp so it should be a little more with hbp and meth. My tuner wants to tune it with two maps. One with meth and one without.

You really need to powdercoat your valve covers and clean that intake manifold.

I ventured over to the CL section for the first time in over a year just to find a thread for your car. I like what i'm seeing! The polished blower will look great.

Any chance you will have this done by the end of the month. I'm going to be in Orlando and they're having an acurazine meet on the 29th.

I would to see your beast.

damn.

I'm done with my car...it's been giving me shit lately and it's making me tired of cars. If I would have had more time before my tranny blew, I would have done a 6spd swap and that would have held me over a while longer.

2011 WRX is in my near future (seriously). I miss my RB25 240sx so much...lol.

i know exactly what you mean. times like this make me tired of cars lol. i remember when you told me you were getting rid of it i couldnt believe it. you should have kept it. so your going to get rid of the TL and just have the WRX?

i dont know if you remember Robert from high school but hes been telling me hes thinking about getting rid of his RB25. hes been been building it since we were in school. i keep telling him hes going to regret it later if he does.

i looked them up and it says the TDC sensor codes. either its the sensor that needs to be replaced or maybe the bad connection or loose wiring.

Yea, the reason I asked is because Ive heard of a few people that got that code shortly after they washed the engine bay.

civicdrivr is right about the washing, the first time i cleaned my motor i got the same codes. after it was dry i cleared them and haven't seen them till i put in the FIC. I have been getting the same codes since i put in my FIC. Thats why i was asking about which unit you were running. I have been talking with AEM tech and they said i might need the 1911 to keep from getting those codes.

I'm auto as well, running the FIC/6 and meth. I was talking to Henry from AEM, we can upgrade the 1910 to a 1911, but he couldn't tell me for sure that it would fix the problem. The 30-1911 will be used on Honda specific vehicles with magnetic cam/crank sensors. The newer 01+ vehicles (not all, but most) from Honda/Acura have switched over to Hall Effect sensors which use the standard 30-1910. Since our cars have magnetic cam sensors, it sounds like we need the 1911.
