Nice rims. Those sets of rims were one of my choices of new rims. Wonder how they would look on the red CLS. Can anyone help me by photoshopping his silver to the red?

Overall, nice ride man.

Nice looking car and GREAT photographs, Jeff. Satin Silver always looks best on a cloudy day.

Can't wait to see your rims in person on the 2nd. Did you get the bent one replaced already?

I got the rim replaced... and I'm 650 bucks poor now... after all the repairs to the fender and wheel/tire replacement.

DAMN!!! Don't remind me...

Those rims look real clean, are those gunmetal??? I was thinking of getting the same tires S-03 are they a big improvement? and why did you get 225-45, Is it better than 225-40, maybe that's why there's rubbing or it's the offset? Any help would be great cuz I'm getting 18x7.5 w/ +45offset and of course those tires. On a 18x7.5 should I get 225-45 as well? Help

Part of the reason I have the 225/45 is the load rating... tirerack would not sell them otherwise...

The rubbing is due to the offset and the tire height.

with the 18x7.5 you should be tucked in a bit more so you probably won't have rubbing...
but it really depends on the wheel you get... for the offset..

Damn both looks good, If i was planning on getting a new body colour that steel grey was 1st on my list. The 2nd choice would be a illusion colour or whatever they called it. The kind they used for Preludes, the one with all the colours, purple, green, silver etc.
The 3rd would be a white. If you ask me why white, Canada doesn't have white like they do in the States

Thanks for helping me out man!

Sorry to be a pain but how are those tires??? Are they noisy??? and how much did you get your rims 4? were they a rim + tire package from tirerack? Also I've heard good things about those rims really light!!! Could you tell a difference in performance at all? Did you compare them with the stocks? THANKS A LOT again! Not trying to drill you but any help would help a lot

I know what gun-metal is I'm looking at some that are that color..

He had other wheels on before that had nasty caked on brake dust all over them.. this was before the superlaggas..

At the last meet, it sure did look funny.. with his brake dust wheels and comptech exhaust sticking so far out..

A few Questions

Hi, your ride looks sweet. I'm thinking of doing up my CL with similar rims. I have a few questions (i'm a little new to moding cars, please bear with me!)

1) Did you lower your car also?
2) Will those rims (OZ Supperleggera) fit with my stock tires or do I have to get new tires also (do they have to be Low Profles?)
3) How much did you pay for them?
4) What is an offset? 40....45... what is all that?
5) Are those rim's 7" or 8" wide?

Thanks!.

1. the car is definitely lowered... about 2 inches with apex'i coilovers
2. you can get 17" OZ superleggras but they won't look the same and if you get 18" wheels you obviously need new tires.
3. check out tire rack
4. +45 offset... do a search... it is basically how far out or in the wheel sit from the center... The TL/CL stock offset is +52 so the closer you get to +52 the better
5. 8" inches wide...

6. Please read my sig it has all the info...

late

Height adjustability...the fact that you also get a strut that is matched with the spring rate for a superior ride...and on the Tiens...adjustable dampening is also available.

They're not bad. Ride good and I got my set half way stiffness on the dampers and are perfect. They're not super quiet...but not loud either...but then again depends on how you are...some people can't even stand the slightest squeak.
