New rims!

I just put Konig Holes on my 03' CL Type S. I went with the 17" rims because I didn't want to make the big investment of both tires and wheels. Plus, I'm pretty happy with the ride now so I don't want to screw with it. I think they look pretty good.

Well, not everyone likes the low rider look ... plus, I like the way it looks the way it is.

I dont see the H & R Lowering Springs being offered for the Acura CL-S in any of the auctions open right now. Do I just need to check back periodically or should i send them a direct email?

dropping it doesn't give it a lowrider look, it makes it look normal.

compare the wheel gap on your car to any other sports car on the road, you will see how much extra space the cl has.

the cl's need to be dropped an inch or more just to get rid of the 4 x 4 look

IMO

I may lower it later. First, I want to put an icebox on it. Lowering it is about 4th on my list of things to do ... even then, I'd look for a high quality 1.5" or so drop. Something that wouldn't effect the ride too much. But, since it's so low on my list, I haven't looked into them yet.

I'm going to get those springs next week.....did you get new struts too? Trying to do as much as I can on a limited budget......so far it's just shaving (debadging) the back end, door sills, and then the springs......and then...? 19"s?? Headers(they have to be a bitch to put on)?? Exhaust?? I think I need to limit my budget to under $1,000, which doesn't give me many options...any suggestions as to how I should appropriate my funds for the most important mods?

what springs did you choose? OEM/Sports/Race?
I got Sports, didnt get any aftermarket shocks, cuz i have no money left after i bought my rims/rubber. If i had to do it over, i woulda bought a set of shocks, the ride is a bit bumpy, but tolerable....maybe next year...

I was going to go with those H&R springs from Power Garage (I'm pretty sure they're Sport/Race, but I dont know what the difference is). You guys need to help me out here, I dont know what looks good or is the most important thing to get first. I need to know what to get, where to get them, and when to get them.

The tail lights are tinted. There's a recent thread on it:
