if you are talking about Aegean Blue(lighter more vibrant blue), That color was started on the second batch of CL-Ss for the 2002 model year. I don't believe that color was available for the 2001 CL-S.

If it is the Dark Midnight Blue, that color was restricted to CL-Ps only, not the CL-S.

Just a quick note on the '01 blue color thing from a newbie. I just recently purchased an '01 CL - S in Monterey Blue Pearl/ black interior. The color code on my driver door post is B93P. I haven't taken any pics of the car yet, but, from what I can see, the pic of the dark blue RL above looks identical to my color (my car has its original paint). From a very unscientific survey of all the used '01 Cl -S ads I could find with pics, it appears the Monterey Blue was the rarest color, at least here in Canada.
I'm not certain of availability in the U.S., but here, on the '01 Type S, only colors available were the Silver, Black, Red, Gold and Blue in decreasing order of noticeability in for sale ads.
