Thumbs up My ssm cls6 (56k no no)

What's up guys? I'm fairly new here and figure I'd let everyone see what I drive!

First off, I bought my car April 26th of this year from Texas Auto Online, a company out of houston texas.

Here is the original thread it was posted in by someone who spotted it on ebay:

According to the car's history report, it was registered to one singe owner all of it's life in plano texas (my metroplex), and then sold to Texas Auto Online from some BMW dealership.

The body has only a few of the most minor dings, it runs and drives perfect, and I love it to death.

Here is the list of aftermarket stuff already installed at the time of purchase:
  • Comptech Headers
  • Comptech B-Pipe
  • Comptech Catback
  • Magnaflow (looks to be universal) cat
  • Comptech Icebox
  • Comptech Springs
  • Tokico Blues for struts

As it came:

First thing I did was buy new tires and brakes. Tires are Fuzion ZRis from firestone. My buddy is tire manager and needed to meet his monthly quote so I got em for $281 out the door with full warranty... couldn't resist.

Brakes are EBC red stuff and EBC sport rotors, front only for now. They're waiting for legend calipers and the front pads to wear out before installation.

Also waiting to be installed, once I find 3 more parts at a less than rediculous price, is a custom carputer. It will be mounted where the OEM navi would be and will be powered by a dockable samsung Q1 in the glove compartment. I already installed an MA Audio 10" sub tied in with an L.O.C. since I'll be using the stock head unit. Here's the parts already acquired for the carputer:

On the list for the future is rims, a tl lip kit and an oem spoiler and i'll call it done (unless I come across a really good deal on a Comptech S/C ).
I also have some RX330 AFS projectors, Celica Clear lenses and replica E46 shrouds laying around from some old projects so I may pick up a 50w HID kit and get a little retrofit action going, but that has yet to be decided.

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!

Actually, I don't mind at all. it ended up bieng $14,052 after TTL with a little bit of talking em down. I was happy with the price and got EXACTLY the car I wanted, with a few bonuses.

Man I hope those brackets hold the box in your trunk down. I've tried EVERYTHING and my damn box eventually vibrates free. I finally got a hold of a box that just fits really snug so I wouldn't have to waste time turning the inside of my trunk into swiss cheese.

Actually, the reason I took a picture of the bracket is because of it's sturdiness. That stuff is 3/8" thick stainless with (4) 3/8" self drilling bolts per side. Those bolts work awesome because You also end up with a really great ground that's usually noise free.

Trust me, it's there until I decide otherwise! lol.

It's just a UMPC running some proprietary samsung "frontend" software with a CLS in the background.

Samsung Q1

I plan on using a real front end like RoadRunner or Centrafuse. For Nav, I have streets and trips but it doesn't function super great as a standalone navi tool. I may splurge and get iGuidance, but we'll see.

I'm actually going to dock this in my glove compartment and have a Liliput touch monitor mounted in the dash. That way I have both OEM looks and extreme portability. I don't wanna sit in the car or lug a PC enclosure into the house anytime I need to customize my setup.
