This wasnt a noise from the suspension. And for that matter, I cant find anything thats out of place or worn nor can I replicate the sound. Sometimes I think Im hearing shit

BUT - Im glad I was hunting around because I noticed that my fuel pressure seemed to drop. I used to have it set at ~58 but it was right above 40

My AFRs were good, but I have noticed the car seemed somewhat down on power (pulling timing maybe?). I cranked it back up to between 55 and 60 and went for a drive and the car felt pretty good.

I still need to get an IACV back in because on cold start ups I have to hold the throttle around 1200rpms just to keep the car from stalling. For some reason it also sounds like its misfiring on startup. I have no CELs and after a minute or two it clears up and idles perfectly.

I also have an annoying wobble in the steering wheel between 55 and 65. Its perfectly smooth above and below those speeds. Im thinking that not having those dampeners on the axles is causing that. But I just dont even feel like working on the car anymore. It just seems like every other week something is breaking.

I had same problem(steering wobble) between 55-65. It was f$%king annoying me. I did ballance 2 front tires. It didn't fix the problem. There was still steering wobble. so i did ballance again, but still same thing. At this time I checked all my suspension parts. I knew they are all good. cause i replaced a lot of suspension parts about 3month ago. so i decided to do one more tire ballance(I put sticker weight in and out at this time. I used to put sticker weight only out side.) and finally it fixed!!! I was so happy~ It has been a week since i did last ballance. still smoothhhhh~

by the way, i love how you did A/F gauge!!!

Ill check that out. Im going to rotate the wheels tonight or tomorrow and see if the wobble subsides.

There hasnt been any real work done to the car. I finally got around to pulling the Pioneer pos out and reinstalled the OEM radio. Its nice to have music again.

obviously you put it on the very inside, but as far as the outside one, you just put it right behind the spokes, so you don't see it (but you might need a extra oz or two there, but it's so minor though)(depending on the wheel design you might though), but basically you want it dynamically balanced, not just staticly balanced

edit: try this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tire_balance

I have weights on both the inside and outside of the rim (inside is behind the spokes).

I had a vibration at speed that subsided when I replaced the side and rear mounts. Then after I replaced the axles I got the vibrations between 55-65. But it has recently gotten more pronounced at 70.

Im wondering if the lack of dampener on the axle is causing that.

Isn't the whole point of a dampner to subside vibration?

very possible, cause even worn cv joints can cause vibrations in the steering wheel (and still be quiet, cause the boot is still intact, but it has like 250k on it though lol)

btw, nice avatar

, part of the reason of why a OEM axle makes it OEM

Well I doubt its the cv joints as they are brand new. Im definately leaning towards the lack of a dampener causing the issue. Im going to order another set of axles, probably from Rock Auto (I think those come with the dampener). I also have to order another Moog ball joint as I cant get replacement boots for them. Ill just get a new one, swap boots, and return it. I dont like doing that but its my only option

just saying that little things like that can cause vibrations in the wheel

as far as returning it, just accept the fact that you f***ed the boot up, and keep the ball joint, it is only like $35

at least you admit it

as far as local retailers, i called up my local carquest (and they came in moog boxes, and thats all they sell btw), and asked if they had them, and they even had them in stock (kinda a smaller store for them, but still quite a few parts though)

It has it's own wideband sensor attached to a bung welded to the exhaust

A wise man once said if I didnt have bad luck, Id have no luck at all.

I was driving to work this morning and I hit a tire that was in the road. It ripped my secondary O2 sensor out. Tore the wiring, snapped the O2, possibly damaged the bung. I need to check. FML.

And why does this shit always happen before a meet?

just to give you a excuse to wait till some more new parts before you show I guess.
How the hell did you get a tire under you car ?
I might fit a bicycle tire under there.
I'm going to be lifting mine one more time this weekend.
So i don't damage my new exhaust stuff I'll be putting in.

If you drive through Virginia the first thing you notice is all the potholes on I95/295/64/288. As a byproduct of those fucking potholes, trucks constantly have blow outs.

It was a large section of tread that was curled up. I had no place to go because of the truck that was next to me and the shoulder wasn't big enough.

Just replaced the O2 sensor. I need to get a new connector for the car side, the clip is shattered. It still plugs in and looks like it has a decent shield, but to err on the side of safety Im going to replace it.

And the damage was a bit worse then I originally thought. The O2 sensor itself didnt break, the defouler snapped in half. The resonator has a nice sized dent in it, the heat shield is bent up, the rear bumper tabs that secure the lower portion of the rear bumper cover bent backwards, the tabs on the bumper cracked, the wiring for the license plate light pulled out (not damaged though, just pulled off the clip), the license plate got bent, and best of all - I have a pretty little gash on the bumper cover.

And this is for Jacob

M4d JdM y0!

Ill get pics of the gash in the bumper later. Most is on the bottom of the cover, but when you stand behind the car you can still see it.

I shudder at the thought of being lower and having the TL lip kit when I hit that
