Definitely hot. Are you planning on trying the RES when it is released? I think it replaces the entire top of the intake manifold.

I had been wanting to paint the engine cover chrome/silver for awhile...but BiazonR beat me to it..
Anyway, I must thank him for telling me how he did it....
Get white primer....remove the covers....and spray....then let it dry...and spray with chrome paint...high temp isn't necessary...but you might wanna put a few more coats on...
I put one or two on...cuz I got impatient...let it dry for a day...preferably inside...oh yeah...you don't need the engine cover to drive with...so, you can leave it off until your done with everything...primer, piant, drying.

I copied U after seeing yours. Went to Walmart and got some hightemp silver engine spray.

Really easy to do, except for taking off the Acura v-tech plastic plate. And I plainted the bolts too.

Sorry no pics (since it looks just like yours, except the pulley and CAI.)

Yeah...it really is a simple thing to do...and makes your engine just jump out at people.
