Freshened up the front end a little.

i recently was thinking of getting a CF hood but, scratched that idea and went to repaint the hood along with the grille. and since my front bumper and headlights weren't in the best of shape, i spruced them up a bit. all the paint was done by a local shop named J&R Body works and the headlights were cleared and blacked by Rego Sport Tuning in Glendale, Ca. all of the work is well-done.

tell me what you think.

a hood reflection showing downtown SD.

edit: please excuse the big ass pics. Photobucket has been fucking up on me lately. my settings are correct but it still loads big and little pictures.

^i'm actually thinking of doing without them. imo, they look decent on an NBP as long as you keep them Armor All'd.

yeah. the top bulbs are chrome on the outside and blink amber. the bottom are the stock white since they before had the amber lense to shine through. i'm thinking of ordering those bulbs with the same treatment as the top ones have.

say it ain't so, Josh!

thanks, mang. at one time, i was trying on the Rockblockers. i decided to go without. i like my big ass red tails. and if i were to tint them, i think i would tint the bottom half. something different. for some reason, my pics are now in the correct size. Photobucket had better quit pulling this shit.

my blackout is complete!!

front end looks beautiful Luis. They did a great job! The CL without the amber diffuser in the corners make all the difference in the world! Your car now looks fresh and updated. I wouldnt even bother tinting the tails, thats just my opinion. If you bought the 03 tails no one would know what year your car is.

Are you planning on getting drilled/slotted rotors for the rears? The only problem with all that fresh paint is that you'll notice every single rock chip upfront. I often need to touch up my ronjon front grille because of the chips which is why ill be powdercoating it soon.

Nice work man, I always enjoy your threads!

Looks killer mang! Love the headlight treatment. Your rims just look so damn good on NBP too. Did you roll your fenders yourself or have them done somewhere? Just noticed how aggressive the rear roll is in one of the picts. Good stuff!

thanks bro. i think i'll be going with slotted rotors when the time comes. i think both of us will end up getting an exhaust at the same time. unless you've got something up your sleeve.

thanks bro. NBP is fairly hard to put down too. this guy did a helluva job at it though. i feel like getting everything covered with a clear-bra.

nope. the CT drop is pretty mellow. so there is no need to roll fenders with my setup or for a camber kit. i am thinking of getting a coilover setup though. that or those Tein S-Tech springs.

thanks for that crazy comment, Tom.

Ah, it must be that your NBP shows the rear fender flare more. Interesting.

i have no idea what the cost would be out there on the East coast. i do think you would get a better idea by calling a couple of shops. i don't what kind of damage your bumper might have but, they may have to sand all the way down and start from there.

thanks, yo! i very much like this version of my grille better than the last.

BEFORE with glossy black paint only on the A and wings against grey:

AFTER the entire grille got the NBP treatment:

Hotness! Love the look. Could be the cleanest NBP on the boards. We need those kind of hookups on the East Coast.

the shop i took them to charged $150. but it obviously costs more when they are still on the car and they have to take them off on back on.

sup man. when do i get to see the new CL-S? i used this exact tape. you just have to half it lengthwise and be patient while applying it on a clean surface.

when i first saw them in person, i was kinda regreting it to some point. but yeah, like you said, they're growing on me. but i AM looking for the next set since i've always wanted mesh wheels. preferably 18s in black or gunmetal with a polished lip. come down for our big ass SD meet. i'm serious.

nothing much. really. only real difference would be the exhaust. i've been thinking of going with a pair of Magnaflows. or if i find a good buy on a catback, i'll do that. i kinda would like the idea of a custom catback setup. other than that, probably replace stuff like lower drop, darker tint, hotter HIDs.

i'd have to say that those wheels are outdated though.
