outdated enough to the point that not many board members have them? i'd rather rock something rare than something common. that's why i picked to drive a CL.

those are known as bumper garnishes. you can either go to your local Acura dealership(as i did) or order off of one of the Acura OEM part websites.

I REALLY like your Konigs, especially with NBP. I remember the day I got my Fliks delivered, I kind of regretted it too, but now I've finally got used to them and once I get a drop I'm sure I'll love them even more, plus I haven't seen them on any other CL on AZine (I'm sure someone's going to dig up a pict of someone with them now!). But you did say you were looking for some black mesh with a polished lip, right? Trade? LOL! J/K!

take the mudflaps off. Never noticed you had them on. Hopefully the paint is good underneath them. I had paint rub off from them

we have to keep it clean. this NBP paint is high-maintenance. but you know it sure pays off. post pics.

damn. i guess you have a head start since you have a system ready to br installed. i would like to have the RT cat but, it just so happens to be that CA is the one state that didn't allow this to be CARB legal.

haha! i bet they would look good against SSM. let's trade for a couple of months! so far, i know of only one more CL (sic cl) that has these. but they look like a completely different wheel cos his are chrome 20s.

and as for the mudflaps, i would just detail the paint that was underneath them and not sell them as they would probably go back on for our "winter".

Really diggin' the front end. I never knew you converted '01 lights to that color, I thought you had 03's.

Could you tell me where I can get instructions on how to do that? Sorry to interject () in the thread, but I have searched and can't find anything.

Those lights look sick man.

So you got the hood and bumper painted. Now did they paint over the old paint or sand everything down cause I could use that. And how much did they charge?

nope. got a new front bumper and hood while i was at it. that's why i was thinking of a CF hood. all together it was in the vicinity of 1,500. not too bad of a price.

sorry, but i just hate the look of painted headlights if the blinker reflectors/sidemarkers are painted. looks cheap to me. plus you lose a lot of your light output when you do so. the rest looks really good all black tho!

well i guess all of us do something cheap-looking to our CL at one time or another. right, Ross. i actually regret not having stressed to the shop that i wanted all important reflective parts unpainted. i wanted them to be just like the '03s minus the diffuser. oh well.

that's actually on my list. but i don't think i'll really bring myself to it until winter is drawing near and as we have less daylight. i would then do the interior bulbs and hotter HIDs.

hey im all for doing some cheap stuff as long as its not advertised to the public no hard feelings

it still looks good, but i just think it would have been BETTER with the reflectors masked off for painting.

Sorry, I didn't mean that as an insult. Just the color of the headlights looked close to what Chris did.

^ i just might have to. any other suggestions as to what other set might look and sound similar. preferably they're fairly quiet and have more of a polished finish.
