Finaly got a drop, few new pics.

Well, a lot of you are going to say the drop is not even a drop . Though i have to say i couldn't be more happy w/ the outcome. I just wanted a subtle drop to make the car look like it should have stock, and to make it a little firmer . Closed up that 4x4 stance, and took away the body roll that was the CL-P's specialty. The drop is nice and even, there's maybe a 1/4" difference between the front and back, so i'm happy w/ that. Without further adieu, here are the pics. Of course all comments welcome.

It still looks like a 4x4 bro... how many inches are those springs supposed to drop the car?

Yeah, can't really tell the difference. But if that's what you wanted bro, then looks good.

I've heard of two different drops it could be 1.5 front 1.0 rear, and 1.0 front .5 rear. Sadly i didn't have time to really measure it accurately i just got em installed the day after i recived the springs, plus, i'm sure it's gonna settle a little bit.
I get what you guys are saying in that it still looks like a 4x4. Compared to others, like Cltypeslow etc. it is still 4x4 . It's subtle, but it did make a difference. But just to prove there is a difference.

Before: Notice i was able to slide the can of sprite fully into the wheel well sideways.

After, cant get the can in any which way.

I can kind of tell a difference, but I think it might be the style of rims that still makes it look tall.

Your car looks great. I have the same rims and when I put them on (stock suspension) they made it look taller because these rims are 8.0 wide vs 7.5 for the originals which makes the sidewall slightly shorter.

I am still waiting for my "bargain" Konis three weeks later.

I can see a difference now! Also, i think its the wheels that make the car look high, because of those huge tires! But it looks good!!

How is the ride? Same as stock? Im about to get a set of the hp shocks as well.

I'm not going to lie here, I really can't tell your car is dropped in the last few photos. Hopefully it settles a bit more.

Hey, thanks for all the comments. I knew i'd get the doesn't look dropped comments here, lol. i'm happy w/ the front height, if the rear settled a little more that would be ok w/ me. It's definitely a conservative drop not for everybody, especially here.

The ride quality is of course great, feels very close to stock when cruising in a straight line. Anytime I turn the wheel though it's obviously not stock, the car is just so much more planted. The stock suspension would literally roll on any turn, now it's nice and taut. I've also noticed that the car absorbs shock better now, any sudden bump is not so sharply transmitted to the cabin. And i had two new struts on my front(replaced em about 2 months ago under warrenty) and my rears had almost 60000 miles. I love em I'm just gonna go on loving my new "drop" no matter what you guys say

Dude, you need to replace your stock struts. Especially since your on the eibachs (i think). The stocks just wouln't cut it. Plus the price is right on the HP's. I think when you do replace the shocks you'll wonder why you didn't in the first place.

So considering the stock shocks won't go to well with aftermarket springs....Where's a good place to buy the HP shocks? And how much are they going for? The tein kits and a few others are to much for me at over $800.

I like it though. You don't have to slow down to much or worry about scraping pulling into or out of places or going over speed bumps.

I bought em off of Excelerate, he posts on this site, and is a vendor. I think the price is around 300, but i dont know, i got them in a package, message him for any info, he's great to do buisness with. There is also a ebay vendor that lots of people say he's trustworty, he's a little cheaper. Someone else will have to post up who he is. Or if i have time to search later i'll post it up.

My stock wheels were the CL-P wheels, i definitely like the 3g wheels more. Also, it's not that i dont like the CL-S and TL-S wheels, they're nice, but the spokes are a little bulky for my tastes.

I have the exact same springs (NF210's) but on our stock rims. I parked next to an exact same copy of my car (01 CL-S NBP on stock rims) the other day. He had stock springs and I was at least 1.5" smaller wheel gap in the front. My rear was only ~.75" lower but its mostly the front that makes our cars look 4x4. It might not look alot different but it feels and drives 10X better. I too didn't want an extreme drop do to (crappy) city roads / bumps...and horrible winters. Its still nice to be able to get out of the drive way when there is 3-4 inches of snow on the ground than snowplowing like I did in my slammed integra.

For some reason yours doesn't look as low in the front as mine...maybe its due to the TL rim offset.

I like it, I think that drop is just right. Don't care for the extreme low look. Just not my cup of tea.

You said your stock wheels were CLP rims? Thats not a CLS you have there?

And where did you get that spolier? I like that to!
