hmm quite nice. Wasnt expecting a turbo, you should get a Dr. Evil tranny to hold the power cuz we all know the stock tranny is glass. good luck at NOPI

Yes that is a Cobalt SS in the garage. It has a roll bar, underdrive pulley and upgrade pulley, and a twin disc Exedy clutch.
Yea, the car looks good with the pieces on the wheels, I will get you pics from Knoxville, TN show where I had everything on them. Pulled the pieces off since you told me about the tape not being the greatest. The body shop will do the permanent mount before they finish the car.
Mahdavi Motorsports will be making the kits.

sweet, i didnt expect that at all, some serious nice work but man im sorry to say this but those rims are not the greatest, they they look like they have no lip at all in the pics or it just looks like that cuz of the black lip, but other than that i think that would make a great sleeper if thats what your shooting for

proffesion...axle breaker
yeah sweet work, but i dont like the black in the rims, the black lip really takes the affect of the lip away. it would look 100times better with that lip noticable....yet sweet job

I'll be there with my 3rd gen TL.

Honestly, i don't think he's going for that bling look with a polishged lip, more of a unique show car with a performance style, hence the blacked out with highlight wheels. and the lip isn't a huge factor when every beemer and benz in the Nopi show has a 4+" lip, so he went the other direction instead of competing with low offset vehicles. But def slam that bish with the kit and new paint, and I would def put the pics on the site. send them asap!

Thanks Ron, you said it all there. Definately not going for the bling look with this car. The car will be in the RonJon booth at the NOPI Nationals. At some point in time I will be there, but not all the time, I do have a show to run that weekend. haha
Why Mahdavi? Because Sam is sick when it comes to building turbo kits that no one else really fools with. He has done Lexus GS 300 and 400 kits, Mustang Cobra twin turbo kits, and now the Acura CL kit.
Also, only 4 days to fab everything up completely, all parts are now at the powder coater.
Who would you suggest?

Actually, he is not giving out any info. The car actually stays in our warehouse near the airport, and I live near Buford, on the opposite side of town from where he is talking about. No where near Crachworth.
Thanks for the input guys, I will post more pics this afternoon of the I/C and piping.

Here are the I/C and piping pics.
The I/C is a custom 4 row Spearco pieces with inlet and outlet on one side. The piping is 2.50" on the hotside, 2.75" on the cold side. The downpipe is 3.00".
Everything has been sent to the Powder Coater and the Ceramic Coater. Car is now at the body shop. Should get some pics of that soon.

The guys at Mahdavi already looked at the wifes TL. Probably won't see a turbo kit for that car, no room and goofy manifold set-up on it.
The car is going back SSM w/BASF Blue Pearl mica.
Also, I just heard from Joe at UniChip, the new module will be here this week.
