It's actually quite simple.
You need a slotted screw driver, phillips screw driver, 10mm socket, another socket slightly smaller than that (not sure of size...test for fit), and a tamper proof bit set

Removing Bumper (Tools = Solotted Screw Driver; Phillips Screw Driver; 10MM Socket)
1. Remove screw in front of each front tire (where bumper meets front quarter panel on each side). (Should be Phillips SD)
2. Remove plastic pins from the underside of bumper (4 of them). (Using Slotted SD)
3. Remove 10MM Bolts from underside of bumper. (2, one on each side)
4. Remove plastic clips on top of bumper. (8 or so)
5. Remove screws on top of bumper. (3 screws, using Phillips SD)
6. Unplug foglights. (for 01-02 models)
7. Remove bumper.

Removing Headlights
1. Remove Bumper
2. Remove bolts from the side of the headlight housing.
3. Remove two bolts under the headlight housings.
4. Unplug connections.
5. Remove two bolts from the top of the headlight housing.
5. Remove headlights.

Removal of Ballast
1. You have to use the tamper proof bit to open the housing to get to the xenon bulb. The screw is near the plug for the bulb's power.
2. Remove power connector from the bulb.
3. Remove the ballast from the lens/housing with a phillips screw driver.

To replace...just follow the steps in reverse order.

I had one ballast out so I but a d2r kit online and switched out both ballast and a relay harness to gain power directly from the battery. Will post posts asap.

I had one ballast out and decided to do a complete conversion. Check out this thread ---https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=716617--- it was a lot of help when getting acquainted with everything.

The conversion kit I used was the one mentioned here- https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=788745&page=1

couldn't be happier, especially with the amount of money I saved.
