Dyno Results In! 01 CL-S with APEXi NEO

Finally got tuned today, put down 229.8whp and 192tq before tune and 234.7whp and 198.3tq afterward. I believe my high flow cat is robbing me of my torque. AFR after tune is about 13 across the board. I'll scan the dyno sheet later on today if I get a chance. Mods are in my sig

I wouldn't get the high flow... I have mixed feelings about it, my torque should be much higher. And im using the stock diameter crank pulley, get the full underdrive kit when you buy yours.

the underdrive crank pulley, power steering pulley, and ac pulley. The new belts will be an extra $40. So the total cost is about $340 for all. Excellerate sells all of it

215whp seems a little low. I think maybe like 224 ish...I would think. I could be wrong though. Have you checked your imrc by any chance?

Those seem low. Maybe I'm just used to the 6 speed. Mine puts down your max #'s with half your mods.

Where'd you get it tuned? How much including the Apexi & tune cost?

What mods do you have? im betting if I only had headers, intake and the crankshaft pulley i'd be putting down 230~ with the tune. I'd like to see your dyno sheet too if possible, very curious. It's hard for the NEO to make power if theres nothing to correct.. my AFR was a little rich from 5.5-7k but thats it, the neo corrected it and leaned it out more but the gain isn't too drastic. I need to scan my dyno sheet so you can examine it a bit closer and see that my AFR was already efficient from the factory.

Kris, hi-flow cats do decrease torque by a certain amount but they supposedly free up hp.. im not too sure about that though since i've never seen before and after dynos with the hi flow on the type-s motor.

I was trying to find the PnP harness for this at boomplustoys.com cause someone said it was selling there but its not.

Does you know where I can get it? And or is hardwired more effective for results?

Really nice numbers Mike, only things I can think of are the motor is brand new? or you have a factory freak or the dyno reads high... 236 with intake and headers is amazing.....

I can't compare my car to a 6spd, i'd have around 250 with my setup if I wasn't a auto. 233 in a 6spd with your mods is rather low I would think btw.

I'm guessing DynoJet (or Dynapack). Those numbers would be the bizniz if they were on a Mustang.

Your gains are about what I got with the UniChip...so they are expected.

As far as the numbers go you can't compare numbers from different dynos so I'd imagine that dyno is just putting down some higher numbers than you'd typically see.

I can't find mine. But it was 234HP & 211TQ. My stock dyno was 216/204.

My dyno on my old 6mt with all CT parts(no charger) was 238hp. I don't remember the TQ.

In that case Fuzzy I think my numbers are about right. The 6spd puts down almost 20 more whp than a 5AT. With my mods a 6spd would probably put down around 250whp tuned. I don't think a 5AT with all the bolt ons and tuning can get past 240 unless the dyno reads high or the car is a factory freak.

Not to mention all 6spds are made in 03 and prob have lower mileage than my car. I have 97k
