From what i've read a hi-flow increases hp on the type-s motor but decreases torque greatly due to the loss of backpressure, on the type-p motor it increases both hp and torque...

luis, the crank pulley is in but i'm not shelling out $100 for another few pulls. sorry about the meets...i just don't have the time anymore.
gc, that was back in 2002 when the motor had 15k miles. the car has always run strong though. i raced my friend when i was stock and he had headers. it was pretty even until the bottom of third where he would walk away.

I think there was only one confirmed instance where there was a reduction in tq (Johnstypes I believe). Everything else I've seen/read seems to say the opposite (increase in HP + TQ). Again, I only noticed gains with the addition of my high flow cat.
