6 speed final drive upgrade

Are there any final drives that can be used in our trannys like from the newer Accords? Or anything higher than our 3.2s? I saw a 3.8 but it's pricey

If there is anyone on this site that can help answer any of your questions, it will be the individual below. He is a Acura/Honda transmission aficionado. Check out his facebook page listed in his profile below:

P2R has a 4.1 final drive, although it wasn't clear to me whether or not it'll fit our 2G models.

P2R J-Series 4.1 Final Drive
That final drive set is for manual transmissions, like the one in a '03 CL-S 6-speed, for instance. It does not have the same part # of the final drive on your automatic '02TL-P.

Even if one where to purchase a new counter-shaft ($271.02) and oil pump gear ($48) online with the 4.1 Final Drive Bense Built offers ($1100), you would still save $330 over P2R's price. That savings could be shifted over to the labor expense of the install.

The savings increase even more if it is determined that a new counter-shaft and oil pump gear are not needed for those who may want to install this 4.1 into there manual transmission. That would still have to be determined/discussed with the transmission experts who would know, of course.

Nice!

So, you went with the BenseBuilt 3.9 final drive?

If possible, don't forget to update your thread with your impressions when it's all done.
