02 cls mod questions

Looking at getting HKS super draggers, dc sport headers, and comptech icebox.. Any idea how much hp I would gain with these mods? Will they be worth the $$$

the comptech site has dyno numbers on the icebox and headers (dc is pretty much the same). There are dyno numbers for headers here too, do a search. Axleback exhaust will be mostly for sound.

Would the comptech exhaust be better for performance gains?

Both the Comptech Axlebacks and the HKS Superdraggers are discontinued now, you're gonna have to find a used set. Neither mufflers add HP, just for sound.

Really? I was actually thinking of getting the HKS draggers, and the last time I looked they were still for sale. That would totally suck if I couldn't get em

since we cant get the ice box for our cars anymore, im looking at the AEM cold air intake and the injen cold air intake. the ingen is about $30 cheaper. is there a difference between the two? is the AEM better then the injen or vise versa or the same?

alright, so after going back and forth on what exhaust i want. i decided to go with tanabe tuner racing mufflers.. does anybody know where i can get a mid pipe for our cars. i cant find any place that carries them.

can you buy a tanabe mid pipe separate, the same one as if i bought one of their cat back systems?

The tanabe exhaust is a full cat back exhaust

The medallion touring is

On their website they have a tanabe custom where you can just buy the cans.. I like the round canister more then the oval OEM looking one.. And if I could find a decent mid pipe for $200 or less it would be cheaper then the medallion touring

and theres not going to be a resonator

2.5 Would Be enough But You Could Go 3". I Would Really Recommend A Resonator. I Used To Have An 18" Magnaflow Resonator And I Wished I Went Bigger. You'll Get A Nice Sound From The Mufflers. Put A Resonator In To Stop Annoying Done.

Thanks I'm glad you said that because I cannot stand drone... My friend had it in his camaro and refused to drive with him... But what would be the best one to run... And does length make a difference?

Yes Length And Placement Make A Difference. check Out The Magnaflow Site. They Won't Restrict Flow At All. Probably A 8" Round 24" OR Over In length

they call them universal mufflers. a resonator is really just a muffler. Looks like you probably want a 6" round 2.5" in/out and i'd get the big 27" (part 12640). Maybe check ebay. Vibrant also makes the same type of product.
