Yeah, it's an eBay supercharger! Spittin' out an entire .000037lbs of boost at full spool. It's a force to be to be reckoned with.

Any plans of getting this to the track or is it going to be a tire shredding street fighter ?
Can't wait to see what it runs if and when you get it to hook up.
Amazed every time I stop by and seeing what your doing to that lost soul of accord you started with.

Sorry, no track plans. I too would love to know what it would run on the 1/4 or 1/8 but I don't plan on ever seeing a track. As for a street fighter tire shredder, HELL YEAH! I've patiently, and I do mean PATIENTLY, been waiting on the little small things to finish the car up. For instance, I decided on removing the fuel cell and doing something a little oddball which is using the factory tank for a "reservoir" (if you will) and having it pump into my cell but only when the fuel level inside the cell lowers. So I had to completely modify both the cell and a stock 07 TL-S fuel pump assembly to do this. I've been dealing with the hassle and BS of searching for all the correct fittings/adapters/lines/etc... all damn day! Lol

But as I continue to say: it will all be worth the wait.

And Richard, what's the lightest and best looking (in your opinion) wheels they make? Thanks for the kind words brother.

I would do spinwerkes 15x10's if I were you. They are a 10" wide wheel and weigh only 10.5lbs and they custom make them to fit If you have brakes that need clearing. But if its a street only car you might not want crazy wide 15x10 sticking out the fenders. They were a little out of my budget for me at the time or I would've had some 15x8's.

With hustling I do on ebay I got my new front wheel and tire setup for 690 shipped.
Only 40 bucks cheaper than everything came to, but 40 bucks is 40 bucks

I think their is some skinnys for a rear drag setup in ebay right now. I would scoup those.
They weigh less than 8lbs.
I might have to grab them as they are talking to me.

skinnys for the front won't stop the car even with Advics at those speeds...

or since your fwd...they won't launch it either!

and skinnys for the rear...well, a fast car should at least look normal, not crappy...

these look like spare tires from my RL...

Weird,
I said skinnys for the rear.

I spin 245's like dounuts.
He's going to have to run wide DR's for street tires even thinking about hooking up at all on the street.

Thanks Richard. I'll look into those later tonight.

Great news everyone, just fired her up after all this work. After making a few adjustments with Hondata, she purred beautifully! All afr's seemed to be spot on afterwards at idle and no load revs. This is exciting and can't wait to take her out on the road and playing with it a little bit. If tuning the engine gives me a sense of being beyond me just once, I'll back off and take it to a nearby local shop for tuning. I'd like the opportunity to say that (if successful) I was the one who tuned this car.

Here it comes, and now I can taste it.

Does The meth Kit Get Controlled By your Hondata? Or On It's Own? How Does It Know When And How Much To Spray? Just Curious And I Figure You Know.

The meth injection setup is generally NOT a standalone system meaning it requires either a controller or activation switch...much like a nitrous setup would. I plan on using Hondata to control its solenoid (or injector) and having just looked through some options on the FlashPro's configuration, I SHOULD be able to do so using the IMRC control circuit. Although its not controlled by MAP signals (boost), I will able to adjust and set specific RPMs ranges to control the off/on to the meth system. I say "SHOULD" because the turbo isnt always creating boost just because its at say: 4200rpms. If youre not accelerating but doing something such as a rolling start before WOT, the meth woud still be spraying if its above the activation rpm. This could do damage and therefore nothings final yet. Who knows, I may end up having to purchase an actual meth controller?

You scare me sometimes homie. I think all that nitro youve been running in your little RC cars is really affecting you lately.

***UPDATE***

Before tuning can take place, Ive decided it would be VERY wise to invest into a dual probe EGT system (one for each bank) as well as ensuring my electronic fuel pressure gauge is functioning. Cant have ANY slip ups...

Gnuts, go to a new text message screen on your phone. You'll see something like "Abc" "ABC". If click that and see change it to the "Abc" setting, it will fix the problem! Lmao, sounds like you may have an older phone?

So here's the scoop, I was very happy to see many more options on Hondata that I was hoping for. Things like disabling the rear O2 sensors, disabling the EVAP (as well as FTP sensor readings), disabling EGR, all sorts of awesome stuff that not only makes me able to eliminate some stuff with but also makes tuning a little easier as well. I'm gonna try and get some screen shots of FlashPro to show you guys how simplistic this program really is so hang tight. For those of you with the j32a3 and j35a8 engines, you guys should SERIOUSLY consider this program.

During initial road time (no boost) the engine was experiencing fuel starvation from the gravity fed fuel supply to both pumps. Change of plans: I will NOT be running a fuel cell anymore. I've decided to utilize the factory tank again instead BUT I'll be installing a high volume Walbro that will feed a custom made surge tank to feed the high pressure pumps instead. The surge tank is being made from one of my MANY nitrous bottles I have and I'm using a 10lb tank so this should carry more than enough for any high boost, long duration WOT spurts the engine experiences. Surge tank pictures will be posted here shortly.

Lmao. If you still had the RL, I'd definitely be tempting ya. An AWD Acura with boost....mmmm. That sounds like a lot of fun.

Jenny (the wifey) drives a '10 MDX that I've been absolutely DYING to get ahold of for some wrenching on. I have so much extra nitrous crap left over from the "darkside" days (most of which are still full) that I've wanted to throw on it for some time now. Just a 50 shot....that's all.

ironically enough that RL is closer to you than it is to me, the last time I spoke to its new owner he was driving through Texas!

I mean, if you saw it on the street you'd know, there isn't a second one like it. I mean...there isn't a second person crazy enough to mod an RL...

You hit the nail on the head by mentioning this. With all these fuel lines, fittings, tanks and pumps that now create a confusing maze in the rear of my car, I cant help but to maybe invest in a fire protection system. And thats no joke my friend.

***UPDATE***

Ok so, anyone want to hear the latest?

I posted to pics above of what looks like a nitrous bottle (which it is) feeding into my fuel system. BUT, thats actually a NO2 bottle thats been converted into a fuel surge tank by making the valve into a 3 port fitting for fuel supply, factory tank return and also the engine return. Then I tapped two fittings into the bottom for the in-line pump supply lines.

Basically I started all over again on my fuel system. I did away with the fuel cell as it was NOT meeting my needs. The cell basically requires a gravity feed system to the fuel pumps. This, of course, increases the chance of fuel pump starvation by a big margin. I literally experienced this the very first road test I put on the car after installing the cell and just once was all it took for me to decide on a fuel system redesign.

Ive done quite a bit of research here lately on turbo fuel systems and noticed that by using a surge tank, you get to big advantages without any sacrifice (like the fuel cell gave):
1. No chance of fuel starvation
2. Allows you to keep and utilize the stock tank, pump, and fuel level sensor.

I started by first removing the factory fuel pump assembly out of the fuel tank then installed a 255lph Walbro pump to increase the volume (not so much the pressure) that will be supplied to the surge tank. I also installed a return line AN fitting on the top of the pump assembly and that was it. After priming the system for like 4 minutes...it fired up and actually made the in-lines much more quiter (THANK GOD!) and draw less amperage.

AS FOR THE TUNING...

Now that all other sub-systems were finally finished and up to par with the power potential of the motor, I hooked up FlashPro and went to work on doing the Low Fuel (No VTEC engagement) tuning and adjustments. After a small mishap involving an incorrectly setup wastegate that was incidentally creating 10-15psi+ boost, I eventually got most of that fuel table straightened out. Even at nearly 8psi, I have a very conservative 12.5:1 afr thats very smooth in RPM transition and one small area that I still need to try and alleviate thats retarding just 1 freaking degree! Lol...

So far, Im loving this stuff and plan on making a few videos as soon as the kinks are worked out. Until next time...maybe tomorrow after the family gets back from a day at the zoo.

I don't know much about the the extra tank but,all those fuel lines all around the battery looks scary.
I would be thinking of bad things as soon as the fuel pumps turn on.
I would put that battery at least in a box. The last thing you want is a fire ball in the back seat.
