Yet another outlandish statement by Car and Driver...

In this month's issue they test drive the new Accord V6 sedan and, when comparing it to the Altima 3.5, state that both of these sedans have 240hp and ask the question, "...is 240hp the maximum horsepower that a front-drive sedan of this size and weight can handle?"

What a redicuilous question considering I can name a number of front drive sedans with more horsepower that come in around the same 3439lbs as the Accord V6. The TLS and Maxima come to mind immediately.

There were so many other crazy comments in that magazine I had to put it down.

One thing that did catch my attention about the new Accord, however, is that is has integrated exhaust manifolds. I bet that means no headers for the new models! Honda must be taking that away from us too. Talk about getting Vanilla in character--this new Accord is all about vanilla! They better hope brand recognition kicks in for this new bland automobile.

Did you also read that Honda suggests 10,000 mile between oil changes as well?
